Since a while the add-on doesn't work anymore :(
It doesn't save any textparty anymore, it's always empty!
What shell I do?
I tried to re-install the add-on already, but no chance..
Please help, thanks a lot!
please let me report some issue with one of your FF extension i use.
Extension name and version : Textarea Cache 0.9.3.2.1-signed
Firefox version : Firefox 44.0
bug related URL or link : every websites
how to reproduce the bug : Actually, the extension just doesn't work since i got last firefox versions (43.0, 44.0). It seems it doesn't save texts anymore.
Thank you very much. :)
Textarea Cache is this addon going to be updated so it will be signed for the latest FF editions in 2016?
It would be nice if the developer would respond to his/her fans.
Stopped working in the Firefox 44 x64 beta4 (maybe earlier) - the list in the buffer window is empty.
Don't know if it's supposed to but Lazarus 2.3.1 doesn't seem to save any text in Google+ (I'm using FF40.0.3) comments to posts OR actual posts. Is this a FF problem or a Lazarus non-feature. I love Lazarus and it's saved my butt more than once on Forums and such.. But Google+; no-go.
Thanks in advance,
In case it wasn't clear, that last report relates to TextArea Cache 0.9.3.2.1
First, well done with this excellent extension which has worked well and saved lost posts many many times.
I'm just reporting that although it still works well with the *released* firefox (I just retested it to be sure), I'm currently working with Firefox Developer Edition 40.0a2 (2015-06-14) and my textareas are now usually not saving from there (but they did, even in devfox, until a couple of weeks ago).
This page -- http://hemiolapei.free.fr/extensions/index.php/support/en -- is a good one to use for testing. If you type something in the textarea here (without filling in any of the other pages, so that the submission is rejected) nothing is cached when using the devfox version. Try the same from the released firefox and it works fine.
Textarea cache, Firefox 40.0a2 with E10S (electrolysis, process separation enabled), the extension doesn't work - http://img.jackw.net/411432159352.png
E10S will probably be reaching the release channel this year, so your addon needs to be updated to support it.
For details on how to update your code to support E10S, the MDN article is https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Add-ons/Working_with_multiprocess_Firefox
It'd be nice if the add-on automatically focusses on the first (or any) input form as soon as the html gets available, while page is loading.
